In the first quarter of 2021, the train game category saw diverse trends in user engagement and downloads among the top apps in the United Kingdom. Data provided by Sensor Tower showcases the performance of five leading train game applications on the unified iOS and Android platform.

Train Station 2: Steam Empire, published by Pixel Federation Games, saw its revenue peak in mid-March at approximately $33K, with a noticeable dip to around $23K by the end of March. Downloads steadily declined from 8K in the last week of December to under 4K in the last week of March, while weekly active users dropped from 48K to just under 40K in the same period.

City Train Driver Game 2020, without a disclosed publisher country, experienced modest revenues peaking at $98 in mid-February. The game's downloads decreased from over 4K in late December to approximately 2.7K by the end of March, and weekly active users followed a similar downward trend from 10K to just over 7K.

Train Taxi by SayGames LTD witnessed a revenue increase from $200 to $250 across the quarter. Downloads saw a significant jump to over 6K in mid-February before falling to around 2K by March's end. Weekly active users peaked at 14K in mid-February, then decreased to 6K by the quarter's close.

Lastly, Thomas & Friends Minis from Budge Studios saw its revenue fluctuate, dropping to $945 in late March. The app's downloads peaked at nearly 4K in late January, then gradually decreased to 1.7K. Weekly active users showed an increasing trend in January, reaching over 6K, but ended the quarter at just over 3.6K.
